Genevieve Gorder, beloved for both her innovative design as well as her quirky personality (and habit of working barefoot), became a hero to families across America as she redesigned their homes with TLC's Trading Spaces in the early 2000s. Fans couldn't have been happier when it was announced that Gorder would be returning to the series in 2018 after its 10-year hiatus, but a lot has changed for the designer since she's been on the show.
"[My reaction] was mixed when I first heard the news," Gorder told Et over the phone last week, explaining that Trading Spaces' original run "felt so perfect and compartmentalized in my mind."
"It was the first transformation design show in our country. I was scared that any kind of reinterpretation, if it wasn't completely authentic, could tarnish the guilt on that perfect thing in my memory," she said. (Sorry, was I making it obvious which was the super-hot super-team when I started reading comics?) Roy will be a love interest for Oliver's sister Thea, which is ridiculous because Thea is not an assassin with poisoned fingernails.
In further Arrow news, TV Guide talks with John Barrowman and asks if the "well-dressed man" is the Dark Archer, which is a bit of speculation that reminds me how little I remember of the Green Arrow comics I've read.
Production on the new season of Arrested Development has been suspended — to expand the original 10-episode season to run for 12 - 15 episodes, according to Deadline.

Starting tomorrow, you can catch up on the entirety of Suits either at USA's website or via OnDemand. I guess I should try to figure out where this business with the can opener began.
Turner Classic Movies will soon have a showcase for some of Johnny Carson's classic celebrity interviews.
TV Guide asks if The X-Factor's mentors are hurting competitors more than they're helping. Inappropriate costumes, bad song choices and unenthusiastic advice are listed as ways the mentors have turned into an obstacle contestants need to overcome.
Brian Dennehy will appear in the final season of The Big C as Cathy's father. Considering how Cathy has had cancer for three seasons and we're only now meeting him, I expect he'll be as awful as the rest of the Jamison clan has turned out to be.

I'm surprised The New Normal isn't celebrating Thanksgiving with a "Freedom from Want" homage.

EW has the trailer for TNT's upcoming David E. Kelley medical drama Monday Mornings, which features a scruffy Jamie Bamber in scrubs. I think that's enough to get me to check out the pilot.
NBC is developing a comedy created by and starring Kenan Thompson which could take Thompson away from Saturday Night Live.
CSI is planning an episode where the team investigates the death of a female tennis pro and has booked champs Chris Evert and Lindsay Davenport.
The Av Club takes a look at 30 Rock and notes that in just about any other year, it would have been the kind of short-lived comedy that lands on critics' lists of brilliant shows that ended too soon, like Action, Buffalo Bill or Get a Life.

Tom Lenk has joined the cast of Lifetime's supernatural pilot The Witches of East End. Lenk will play a gay librarian who is a pal of one of the series' lead witches.
Fox has ordered a fourth season of Bob's Burgers.
The next cycle of America's Next Top Model will have male models, along with the aspiring female models. This could be amazing or just headache-inducing.
Who wears the most plaid on Parks & Recreation?
After reports claimed that Beyonce will be performing in the next Super Bowl, the pop diva posted a picture to a tumblr that seemed to confirm it.
If you recognize Ron Eldard's name, that either brings to mind Drop Dead Fred's Mickey Bunce or Shep from ER . (Hold on, I need to brace myself after thinking of that smile.) Now, he's joining the fourth season of Justified as...

The CW's Emily Owens, M.D. looks like it's got a little bit of Felicity, a little bit of Grey's Anatomy
and a bit of Ally McBeal. I don't know how to feel about that.
I just hope there are no Twilight Zone homages in the works.
Tonight is another debate night, so the TV schedule is a little more quiet than usual. I'm hoarding comedies on my DVR again, in case I need emergency stress relief due to the debates.

The guest-casting for Hannibal just keeps making the upcoming series sound more and more amazing. Gina Torres will play the wife of her real-life husband Laurence Fishburne. Torres and Fuller previously worked together on an episode of Pushing Daisies.
Ryan Murphy tweeted that Bette Midler agreed to a guest appearance on Glee.

Rooting for Team Gay on Hgtv's Design Star can be a rough gig. After out Miami designer David Bromstad won the crown in the show's first season and went on to become one of the network's most popular designers, all the other out contestants have either fizzled out early or come tantalizingly close only to get squeezed out in the end.
So which is it going to be this year? Out designer Michael Moeller has made it to the final four. Can he be the next gay Design Star?
Moeller, 30, is a New Yorker, and hoping to bring some hometown mojo to the series' seventh season, set in Manhattan and directed by reality show superstar Mark Burnett (Survivor, The Apprentice). He's been a designer for almost 10 years, and owned his own business for the last two years.

Charlie Williams is a dynamic young dancer who’s making his Broadway debut in Memphis, the new multi-Tony-nominated musical by Joe Dipietro and David Bryan, and he sure knows how to put his best feet forward. Thanks to his fancy footwork, the Astaire Awards nominated him as part of the best male dance ensemble on the Great White Way.
What’s more, Williams boasts the picture-perfect looks of an Abercrombie & Fitch model, and has been named “Broadway Hottie of the Month” by Gaylifenyc.org. The 5-foot-9 charmer, who is refreshingly open and out as a bisexual man, also was crowned ''Mr. Broadway'' at ''The Broadway Beauty Pageant.'' Plus, he will be getting more exposure as the pinup poster boy for "Broadway Bares' Xx: Strip-opoly,'' Broadway Cares' annual burlesque show of sexy dancers on June 20 at the Roseland Ballroom.
Back at Memphis, Williams, 22, is the only cast member who...
