While Daniel Dae Kim has made a pretty great career out of small screen work, boasting credits that include roles on Lost, Angel, ER, Star Trek: Enterprise and much more recently, a starring role in Hawaii Five-0, we do see him on the big screen from time to time. And that's the case for his next role, as the actor has landed a part in the Divergent sequel Insurgent. Variety posted the casting news, stating that Daniel Dae Kim will play Jack Kang in Insurgent. Those who are familiar with the books know that Kang is a Candor representative. Daniel Dae Kim's casting is great news for Insurgent's expanding cast. As mentioned, he has a great list of credits on the small screen, and within those credits, demonstrated range, whether he's playing the collected but sinister Gavin Park in Angel, the kind and intelligent Jin Kwon in Lost or...

Hawaii Five-o is planning a mini Lost reunion.
The CBS hit has cast Reiko Aylesworth as the ex-fiancee of Chin Ho. This will reunite the actress who played Dharma member Amy on the aforementioned ABC drama with Daniel Dae Kim, forever known to Lost fans as Jin Kwon.
Aylesworth will possibly recur as Malia, a doctor who runs into her former flame at a local hospital. No word yet on when she'll make her first appearance.
The actress portrayed Michelle Dessler on 24 for multiple seasons and also played a role on Damages last year. She was most recently seen on an episode of The Good Wife.

For many, Henry Ian Cusick is Desmond David Hume. The Scottish actor is most famous for his role as the tortured time-traveler Desmond on Lost, a role which has become one of the most iconic portrayals of sci-fi television in recent years. Cusick, who began playing Desmond in 2005, finally wrapped up the role earlier this year when Lost ended its six-year run in May.
Now, Cusick is ready to move on with his acting career — something that will be very hard to do considering his recognition for Desmond. Now, he’s taking on a recurring role on the procedural drama Law & Order: Svu in an attempt to escape the Island… and Desmond.
“I was looking to get back into TV as quickly as possible,” he told Digital Spy. “I wanted to get away from Desmond. It just seemed like I was no longer Ian Cusick, I was Desmond. So I...

The title may call this a review, and I’ll give you my take on the bonuses, but a true review at this point is only trumped in meaninglessness by a review of the complete series, also out on DVD. No positive or negative commentary on the show, or its final season, is going to sway anyone about anything. When the final tally was in, people either thought the final season, and ultimately the finale, was completely brilliant, or insultingly stupid, and there isn’t really a live dialog between the camps.
Wherever you stand on the show’s merits, one thing the show has definitely managed well is the attention to its fans, and that includes the attention given to the DVD releases. Always filled with just the sort of fun and entertainment that will make fans feel they’re getting some actual value from the purchase, the DVD sets have added new spins,...

It's really over. That's a reality I'm refusing to face, but it seems that I'm going to have to come to terms with it. Desmond has officially "let go," it seems.
Let me clarify: Henry Ian Cusick has signed onto another show. Law & Order: Svu will be the home of the time-travelling Scotsman for at least two episodes in the fall, according to TV Guide. Cusick will apparently be playing the recurring role of graphic artist Erik Weber. Who is Weber? In the Law & Order world, you're usually either a victim or a perp, but executive producer Neal Baer says Cusick's Weber will be neither. Baer, a professed Lost fan, said that Cusick's character might just be a love interest for main character Olivia Benson, who hasn't had a romantic interest on the show since 2008. "There might be some flirtation," Baer told TV Guide. "Erik meets Olivia when he comes to someone's aid.

TV made us sob like a child this week. Danielle's teary Survivor Tribal Council got to us. Robin's sign-off from the How I Met Your Mother gang made us long for the olden days. Jack's consequence-free offing of Dana Walsh on 24 shook our sense of right and wrong. And the ponderous loss of Sun and Jin Kwon made us reach for the ashes, sackcloth and Kleenex, as our mourning for Lost began a bit early. Welcome to Top Moments: No More Tears Edition.

Check out this interview Daniel Dae Kim did with E! in regards to this episode and his character’s storyline:
Thank you. And damn you. That was the most heartbreaking death scene we’ve ever had on Lost.
[Laughs.] I’ll take that as a huge compliment. I thought it was done in a way that was really poetic. The thing I loved most about it for Jin is that he actually chose to die, for the love of his life, and that to me shows how...

The end of "Lost" is fast approaching, with only four episodes (including the two-hour finale) remaining. The cast has already finished filming, and Daniel Dae Kim says the end of shooting brought a wave of emotions for the cast and crew.
"There was celebration, there was pride, there was sadness," Kim, who plays Jin Kwon on the series, tells Zap2it. "And there was a sense of accomplishment, I think, that all of us had taken this ride for six years together and were bringing it to a close together, and on our own terms. I thought that was really moving."
Kim also talked -- a little -- about what to expect for the remainder of the series, his favorite Jin-Sun episode and his new job on CBS' "Hawaii Five-o" remake. More of our conversation follows.
Zap2it: I don't want to lead you too deep into spoiler territory, but...

As Lost prepares to end its final season, a certain amount of reflection is in order. Few characters have changed as much as Jin Kwon, who went from an angry outsider to one of the show's most beloved core players. And after reuniting with Sun a few weeks ago, it looks like we'll be getting a hell of a lot more Jin in the coming weeks. I snagged a few minutes with actor Daniel Dae Kim to discuss his character's growth and his odd metaphor for his fellow islanders.
Are you satisfied with the way your character ends his run?

A large ensemble of actors suddenly finds itself out of work thanks to ABC’s hit television show “Lost” drawing to a close. But one star, Daniel Dae Kim, is staying plenty busy now that he’s off the island.
Dae Kim plays Jin Kwon on the show, a hired gun who spent the bulk of his time during the series protecting his soul mate, Sun Kwon (Yunjin Kim). Now that the show is done filming, Dae Kwon is moving on to other projects.
He filmed a role in Matt Damon’s summer sci-fi thriller, “The Adjustment Bureau,” with Emily Blunt. It opens July 30. He remained in Hawaii — where “Lost” was shot — to film the pilot of an updated “Hawaii Five-o.” And Reuters reports that Dae Kim has just been cast alongside Samuel L. Jackson in an action thriller, “Deathgames.”

Better known as Jin Kwon on Lost, Daniel Dae Kim has lined up a new role for after the series finishes, with the news that he's joining Deathgames alongside Samuel L. Jackson and Twilight's Kellan Lutz. And as the name suggests, there will be fights to the death involved for our viewing entertainment, which should be good news for those frustrated by Lost's endless twists and turns and/or Twilight's sparkly bloodsuckers.Lutz plays a young man kidnapped on the orders of an evil, sadistic mastermind (that'd be Jackson) and thrown into an underground world of gladiatorial combat for the entertainment of online viewers. Kim will play another of the imprisoned gladiators, a master of kendo who's fighting for his own life and that of his wife.Shooting is due to start next month in Louisiana, with newcomer Jonah Loop directing. Meanwhile, Kim still has some finishing up to do on Lost,...

The publicity machine for Matt Damon and Emily Blunt in an intriguing Philip K. Dick project grinds into action and a sneak preview of a second flick screens in London…
Movie makers love Philip K. Dick. It's all Ridley Scott's fault. Hey, they don't always treat his stories with great respect, but his work continues to prove a rich source of ideas for Hollywood.
Blade Runner, Total Recall and Minority Report are all legendary in their own ways. A Scanner Darkly is a bit of a cult classic. Paycheck and Next? Well, let's move on, eh?
This year will see two more of his stories hit the big screen. Of those two, The Adjustment Bureau is certainly the higher profile one, and it also happens to be the most interesting.
Radio Free Abelmuth is the other and has Alanis Morisette in it. I'm saying no more, apart from blessing...

Actors Daniel Dae Kim and Nestor Carbonell who play Jin Kwon and Richard Alpert respectively in ABC’s hit show “Lost” think that fans of the show will be happy with the series finale. Though both actors were, of course, tight-lipped about how exactly the show will end, they did their best to convey their impressions about the finale script.
Kim tickles our curiosity with the sentiment of mystery:
“I can say that, as with everything on the show, things often are not as they appear. With the baby and the relationship between Sun (Yunjin Kim) and Jin, I think people who are expecting things to turn out one particular way may be very surprised.”
They are shooting the series finale for “Lost” right now. Kim offers his reaction to the end as something full of contemplation and reflection:
“None of the actors, to the best of my knowledge, received the full script.

The first official promotional video for "Lost" season 6 has been unraveled by ABC. Instead of containing new footage, the clip gives a flashback to the very first episode, when the Oceanic crashed, and several others from the following seasons.
The video, moreover, also emphasizes that this season will be "the beginning of the end". Additionally, the show's leading characters, including Josh Holloway's James 'Sawyer' Ford , Evangeline Lilly's Kate Austen, Daniel Dae Kim's Jin Kwon, Yunjin Kim's Sun Kwon, and Terry O'Quinn's John Locke, are all featured in the clip.
Along with the video, the producer of "24", John Cassar, hinted at possibility that he will direct the hit ABC show. "News that I will be directing a #Lost in November is not totally accurate. I am potentially going to direct an episode in the new year," he tweeted on Thursday, October 29.
