Welcome back to the Weekend Warrior, your weekly look at the new movies hitting theaters this weekend, as well as other cool events and things to check out.
Three New Movies May Have Trouble Making Much of a Mark

Ghost in the Shell didn’t even do as well as I thought it may, opening with just $19 million, those late reviews helping to kill its weekend.
Sony Pictures Animation are giving the loveable blue Smurfs a third go at American audiences with The Smurfs: The Lost Village (Sony), after two previous movies,...

Last summer, ABC tried running 500 Questions over seven consecutive weeknights. Richard Quest from the UK was the host. The network's brought it back but have replaced the host and have tinkered with the schedule. Will the ratings improve or get worse? Cancelled or renewed for season three? Stay tuned.
500 Questions, certified geniuses try to correctly answer 500 very difficult general knowledge questions -- without answering three in a row incorrectly. Season two is hosted by Dan Harris.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show's likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available -- typically around 11:30am Est/8:30am Pst. Refresh to see the latest.
5/29 update: You can see the latest night's ratings in context.

In a 20/20 special that aired Friday night, former King of Queens star and Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology author Leah Remini spoke with ABC News's Dan Harris about her 30-year history with the Church of Scientology. The church indoctrinates you from an early age, Remini said: “Because Scientologists view children as spiritual beings, you’re not treated as a kid, so you’re given a lot of responsibility. Your ego becomes extremely inflated.” Remini was seven when she became involved with the New York branch. Later, her mother moved her and her sister to the church's headquarters in Clearwater, Florida where she lived in “roach-infested dorms with other children” while members of the Sea Organization, which serves as the full-time religious order of the church, and which made Remini sign a billion-year contract. Both Remini and her sister dropped their normal schooling in the eighth grade and then only studied Scientology,...

Unlike Leah Remini, Katie Holmes has been extremely tight-lipped about her split from the Church of Scientology. When Holmes and Tom Cruise divorced in 2012, she seemingly cut all ties to the controversial religion. Cruise adamantly denied reports claiming he chose Scientology over Suri, his now 9-year-old daughter with Holmes. The Giver star herself, however, stayed mum on the topic—but now, apparently, she's ready to break her silence. During a special episode of 20/20 airing Friday, Remini will discuss her experience with Scientology in an exclusive interview with ABC's Dan Harris. Harris previewed a clip of their discussion on Good Morning America, telling viewers they could expect to hear from...

Weekly Column: NBC’s Today made the most of its big “get” this morning — Matt Lauer’s exclusive and chilling interview with Dottie Sandusky, wife of former Penn State assistant football coach/convicted sex offender Jerry Sandusky, in which she said the victims were “manipulated” when they “saw money,” did not scream from the basement of her house as one has claimed, and that her husband having showered with the boys is a generational thing. ABC’s Good Morning America, meanwhile, was touting its talk with ABC News’ Dan Harris about the on-air panic attack he suffered a decade ago – the result, he says, of years spent covering wars abroad and his use of recreational drugs to deal with the emotional aftermath of that war coverage. Coming out of the Sochi Games, the morning infotainment-show war has never been hotter. Today, which won the two weeks of the Winter Olympics...

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery! While appearing on Good Morning America's Halloween episode on Thursday, Oct. 31, weekend anchor Dan Harris dressed as E!'s own Ryan Seacrest while entertainment news correspondent Rachel Smith appropriately sported a costume inspired by the lovely Giuliana Rancic. Too cute! The twosome spoofed the E!'s Live From the Red Carpet pair, with Harris wearing a charcoal jacket, black pants and a black bow-tie while Smith rocked Rancic's signature brown bob hairstyle and a sparkly navy red carpet gown. But while the Gma team was busy paying homage to R&G (thanks for the shout-out, you two!), E!'s own Jason Kennedy drew inspiration for...
