Exclusive: The Talk may be wrapping up after 15 seasons in December, but Executive Producer Rob Crabbe and his team are not going down without a fight.
For the first time in its history, The Talk will invite guest comedians on the show to yuk it up for the crowd and cameras. “Stand Up At The Talk” will launch April 26 and return each Friday.
Hosts Sheryl Underwood, Natalie Morales, Jerry O’Connell, Akbar Gbajabiamila and Amanda Kloots will move off stage so the set can be transformed into a comedy club. The featured standup will then perform a 5-minute set for the audience.
“I am excited to bring two things I love together — standup comedy and The Talk,” Underwood, who’s a comedian herself, tells Deadline. “This is the first time The Talk has done a standup series, but it won’t be the last. See you every Friday!”

“America’s Got Talent: All-Stars” continued Monday, January 9 with the second set of 10 performances from some of the most beloved acts in “Got Talent” history. Two more acts advanced to The Finals based on those initial performances: Detroit Youth Choir received the Golden Buzzer from Terry Crews and Aidan Bryant was voted through by a secret group of superfans. They join Light Balance Kids and Bello Sisters who both advanced on the January 2 premiere. Monday’s results left eight all-star acts on the cutting room floor without a chance to be named “Got Talent World Champion.”

Exclusive: This Joka, a stand-up comedy series exec produced by Will Smith, will not be returning for a second season on Roku.
The streaming service launched the series, which came via its acquisition of short-form service Quibi, in March.
The series features a raft of stand ups including Punkie Johnson and Chris Estrada.
Deadline understands that the decision had nothing to do with the Oscars incident, where Smith slapped comedian Chris Rock on stage, but a somewhat unusual issue with timing.
Roku is believed to never really have had the option to renew the series, which is produced by Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith’s Westbrook Studios and Topgolf Entertainment Group. The option to renew lapsed before Roku launched the show, and certainly before the streamer had the chance to analyse its viewing data, meaning that it was unlikely to return for a second season on the platform.

Two weeks ago the last remaining animal act of “America’s Got Talent” Season 14, Lukas & Falco, was cruelly eliminated by judges Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Gabrielle Union and Julianne Hough. At the time I wrote that fans should “keep your paws crossed for a wild card spot,” and as it turns out, I was right! The fan favorite dog act has just been announced as the final wild card of 2019, and they’re set to perform in next week’s Semifinals 2 round. Will Lukas & Falco become the next animal act to prevail after Olate Dogs in Season 7? If so, that’d make them the first wild card to ever win “Agt.”

Hey, "America's Got Talent" fans. Tonight, September 4, 2019, another results/elimination show for the semifinals did indeed air, and six unlucky acts got sent to elimination hell when it was all said and done. The judges: Howie Mandel, Gabrielle Union, Julianne Hough and Simon Cowell were all on hand to give out their "save." Tonight's results show kicked off with recap footage from last night's performances. After that, host Terry Crews revealed that the Light Balance Kids, the Ndlovu Youth Choir and Robert Finley landed in the 4th, 5th and 6th place spots during America's vote. That means they were subjected to the Dunkin' Save vote to make it to the finals. Right after that, Terry revealed that Kodi Lee made it to the finals, and Greg Morton got eliminated. At this point, they brought back season 12 winner and finalist Preacher Lawson and Darci Lynne. Preacher eventually hit the stage to do a short comedy set.

Only 5 of the 11 acts performing on Tuesday’s first semifinal of “America’s Got Talent” will earn a spot in the season 14 final. To make sure that your favorite is one of these, you can cast multiple votes for them. But you have to be organized as voting is only open until early Wednesday morning. NBC has set up three ways for “Agt” viewers to vote: the official app, the website and the X1 set-top box (the network dropped the toll-free phone numbers this year).
You get 10 votes for each of these methods. If you can’t make up your mind, you can divide these among the 11 acts that performed. If you have one act that you just have to see in the finals in two weeks time, you are allowed to give them all of your support.

Everyone’s favorite animal act, Lukas & Falco, was eliminated during Wednesday’s Quarterfinals 3 results episode of “America’s Got Talent” when the judges opted to save guitarist Marcin Patrzalek instead. Hey, "America's Got Talent" fans. Tonight, August 28, 2019, another results/elimination episode did indeed air. The judges: Howie Mandel, Gabrielle Union, Julianne Hough and Simon Cowell were, of course, on hand. Tonight's results show kicked off with a brief recap of last night's performances. Shortly after that, host Terry Crews got right down to business by revealing that comedian Jackie Fabulous, Lukas & Falco and Marcin Patrzalek were the 6th, 7th and 8th place vote getters. That meant they were subjected to the Dunkin' Save live vote in order to stay in the competition. Right after that, Terry revealed that the Detroit Youth Choir made it to the semifinals, and Gonzo was eliminated. Next, the cast of Celestia, which is a new Las Vegas act, hit the stage to do a special performance. Their act also featured favorite Agt contestants: “Agt: The Champions” finalist Deadly Games, father-daughter acrobatic duo Sergey and Sasha and Sandou Trio Russian Bar.

If you’re self conscious about your singing voice, just look away now, because 10-year-old opera singer Emanne Beasha is going to make you feel embarrassed about even belting out oldies in the shower from now on, thanks to her performance on Tuesday’s “America’s Got Talent.”
In the video above from last night’s episode of the NBC talent competition, Emanne wows judges Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Gabrielle Union and Julianne Hough — along with the entire house — with her rendition of “Ebben.”
The aria the little girl belted is from the Italian opera by composer Alfredo Catalani, so we won’t even begin to try to transcribe the beautiful words she sung out. But, really, do you need to know what she’s saying to appreciate those high notes?

Hey, "America's Got Talent" fans. Tonight, May 28, 2019, was the big night that the brand new 14th season premiered on NBC. There was some new judges on the panel: actress and dancer Julianne Hough and actress Gabrielle Union. They joined previous judges Simon Cowell and Howie Mandel. They also brought on a new host: actor Terry Crews. The very first act to hit the stage was a 60 year old comedian/impressionist Greg Morton. He mimicked voices from a Star Wars movie. The crowd loved it. Afterwards, Howie said, "I can’t believe there isn’t a banner in Vegas with your headline on it." Gabrielle said “This is your turn.” Julianne said, "I would buy a ticket to your show right now." Simon said, "It was a very special moment.” He got a yes from all the four judges. Next up, was my personal favorite. 26 year old magician Eric Chien. His act was incredible.

Throughout its now-14 seasons on the air, the judging panel at “America’s Got Talent” has gone through many different facelifts — but hey, this is Hollywood after all. For the current cycle, which debuted May 28 on NBC, the reality TV show welcomed Gabrielle Union and Julianne Hough alongside returning judges Simon Cowell and Howie Mandel.
