I know it doesn't have the themes of It's A Wonderful Life and no, it is not one of the movies that are rerun over and over and over again like Miracle On 34th Street, Christmas Story or Scrooged. Most critics call it a 3 star feel happy film. It is a feel happy film and that's why it is such a great movie but most critics pan it just because theres not some great theme or plot in it. The Bishop's Wife is just one of those charming movies that portrays the world as you'd wish it to be and has Dudley as everyone's great angel. It's the best fantasy because from the start it doesn't show Grant in angel wings but rather as a human so it makes it seem like there is Dudley qualities in all of us.. a great film
