Hemmings and Michael York combine to give us a great tale of a time of great chaos in what eventually became England. Hemmings is superb as the man who would have become a priest and York is likewise great as the scoundrel Danish Thane. Prunella Ransome and Ian McKellen are also delightful. Alas, no video.
