I saw this film in 1974 and was captivated by the sex, the locations, the clothes and Sylvia Kristel. My wife's memories are of the clothes Emanuelle wore. Like many films of this era (Star Wars springs to mind) one should not go back...it's a bit like visiting a nightclub the morning after. I will not be watching this film on dvd it was made for the big screen but it is probably horribly dated. I'll keep my cherished memories. Incidentally I also used to like flared trousers
