The Doors is probably the least focused and uninteresting films I have ever seen. The film doesn't go anywhere and doesn't seem to know what it wants to say. In it's few lucid moments it makes some interesting points(backstage at the Ed Sullivan show is one example) but the rest of the time it is like being part of a bad drug trip. Nothing makes sense and you aren't having any fun. If you are in the mood for an Oliver Stone movie, see Platoon. It actually knows what it's trying to say.
