Given the excellent writers and actors attached to this film, it is perhaps surprising that it turned out so poor. However, delving deeper reveals that it was directed by the dreaded "Phillip Noyce", notorious throughout Australia as the worst director we have ever produced. Stay away from this film unless you are a die hard Harrison fan.
