I loved George of the Jungle first time I saw it, and it still remains one of the funniest movies I have ever seen.
If you are the guy that cant laugh and watch a movie purely for entertainment, this movie is not for you, but if you can loose up and just laugh, this is one of the best.
This movie is of the type that doesnt take anything seriously. Unlike other "cracy comedy" movies like "The Naked Gun", GotJ have a very warm and child-friendly humor that even adults can laugh to.
GotJ is in all a parody of tarzan. A boy is rised by apes, a woman ends up in the same forest, they meet, and fall in love. Adding to the story GotJ is filled with loveable characters (except for George himself). We have the elephant that behaves like a humongous sized dog, the over intelligent talking gorilla, three swahilian carries that always mock the bad white guy (fiance with the woman).
George himself is played by Brendan, mostly fame for his Indiana Jones Lookalike character in "The Mummy". Somewhat beefed up (lots of muscle), not to bright, but an oh so wide happy smile all the time.
I give this movie a 8 of 100. Its not a classic among movies, but it is a classic among comedies.
