Blackjack (1998 TV Movie)
Not Spectacular, BUT!
8 October 2003
John Woo's "Blackjack" does have a good theme within it that he uses to showcase the action and plot of this film. That theme is that people must learn to fight the demon's inside them. This theme is shown through the bad guy and the good guy, who are each fighting demon's within himself. One chooses to let it run his life while the other fight's it as he tries to protect people. On first viewing you might not see that this is a good, if not spectacular John Woo movie, but it is worth a few viewings.

Plus, the action is pretty good as well. Dolph Lundgren is one of those actors who does his best when he let's his body movements do the acting while keeping his voice somewhat silent. He does some of his best work in this film.
