I was home sick (no, really!) and got to watch a few episodes of this: it's stuffed with commonplace ideas, concepts and plots, but no one here takes themselves too seriously, and that's definitely an asset!
Everything becomes light-hearted (in the most positive way) and funny and it's impossible that you don't get the irony (sometimes tongue-in-cheek-ness) of it all. It's so trashy it's funny!
I wouldn't go out of my way to see it and it has nothing to do with real tv series like ER or Northern Exposure, but it's a good way to forgive some of your troubles!
