i expected not to like it - it is hard to make shakespeare's beautiful language work in the modern world. but i thought they gave it a pretty good shot and i was entertained. some good acting & the pixelvision footage was very nice. ethan hawke was ok though a bit too tortured (i know, i know the role IS tortured but i just felt it was too much - it is possible to have some fun with shakespeare - look at bill murray).
