1st watched 12/19/2001 - 3 out of 10(Dir-Reginald Hudlin): Somewhat unfunny attempt to stretch another SNL character into a full-length movie. The problem is not Tim Meadows as the Ladies Man or his sidekick lady Karyn Parsons, it's more the attempt to make a complete character out of a 5-minute sketch character. Will Ferrell is funny and again it's not the actors & actresses here that I have a problem with it's the writing, the simple directing, and the basic hey we can make 90-minutes out of anything that is funny on Saturday Night Live. The fact that this was made into a movie shows the American public that we are not smart and we'll accept anything(Well this is one American who won't). There are much better and more original comedy's out there (watch them not this one).
