Feardotcom (2002)
he's no roger corman but...

one person did say that william malone was "one of the best horror directors I've seen." (i guess he doesn't get out much ;P) don't get me wrong, i do lke this flik. it's just that he's only done a couple of other "in-the-can" films. i don't think he's grown as a director since 1982's Aberdeen Experiment, he just got better toys. he's more like a modern ed wood than jack hill. i read a lot of the reviews on here and they were mostly bad reviews. that's too bad. too many people expected an A-style new-hollywood horror film.

THIS IS A "B" FLIK! ...and it's great. it's nice to know that there is some great cr*p out there. i dig ray kellogg, roger corman, hammer films, giallo films and the like. if you're into this type of wonderful low-brow cinema then you'll really enjoy this film.

just imagine william castle with to-days f/x at his disposal...
