Funniest Thing you ever sawed

Warning: Spoilers
Al Murray is quite frankly a genius. I find his comedy absolutely brilliant. In his very stereotyped role as the pub landlord he seems (at first glance) to be taking the mick out of the other races he is talking about. Yet, understanding his jokes, he is really joking about the English, and our own irregularities. His arguments against the French, the Germans, and everyone else all point to our own stupid prejudices, and the ridiculous reasons we give for our views. When you think like that, and are able to laugh at yourself, you will find him even funnier than just taking his jokes at face value.

**** Spoiler **** Have a look at his pint glass at various times during the show, you will see it changing levels mid-joke. This shows it was shot over several nights, and thus all the ad libs and audience interactions appear to be scripted, with plants in the audience. Only noticed after watching it the eight time or so, put a small damper on it, as some of the magic is lost. Still good though ;) **** End of Spoiler ****
