This movie is all hallucination, but probably a means to a suspicious end. With regard to its quality, though the production budget is enormous for a Turkish film, the acting is horrendous, the plot is immature, and even the Turkish spoken in the film is dubbed. One also cannot help notice the fact that people of power have been behind the publicity of the movie as almost more headlined news articles were showed up about the film than newspaper ads while the politicians were the first to praise the film. The result was a new Turkish box office record, but hardly any profit. One would have to ask "Why?" And the movie is a vehicle to misrepresent Turkey as the people behind the film hardly represent the thoughts of the majority of Turkish people who have been silenced by pressure imposed upon them by the extremists.
