I would give this movie 20 stars if I could. It's so beautifully taken and the performances are amazing, especially Lilete Khumalo's. The subtlety of her acting is incredibly powerful. The sweetness of the characters and the relationships, especially Yesterday and Beauty's relationship, makes this simple story almost unbearably heart-wrenching. For its content, the performances, the direction, and the music, this film is not to be missed. But I'll warn you right now, you may feel an ache in your soul for the rest of your life...especially if you are a mother!
