Compared to other films like Scary Movie, American Pie, There's Something About Mary, etc. Tomcats comes out to me way far ahead. The movies compared to mean to contain comedic nastiness of a sort that really is not funny but actually is possibly debilitating. Tomcats has its' share of off-color language and sexual innuendo and directness but it does not go too way over the top into continual pure dirt. I for one feel Gregory Poirier has a comedic touch and got a lot from his cast as maybe fun was had by all on the set and it shows in the film and featurettes of the DVD I purchased twice and have given. The menu alone for the DVD and the opening credits I can play for hours they are just that cute to me for the film they are the setup for.
