Review of Six Gun Man

Six Gun Man (1946)
5/10
Bob Steele shows his mettle ...........
25 June 2006
In this fairly standard post-war B-western, the great Bob Steele stars as Stormy, a Marshal sent to bust up a cattle theft ring . With the help of some fellow compatriots, he proceeds to shut down the rampant graft and corruption.

Bob Steele was always a good actor and was believable as the determined lawman. The script and supporting players were so-so, with no particular standouts. This film is an example of a film worth seeing solely because of the lead actor.

Steele was a western stalwart from the Silent film days through the 60's and 70's. His performance in this film helps explain why.
