A much hyped, star - studded, very much awaited movie made a scapegoat of me (read, a pure movie buff , who has far too much digestion for the worst of movie disappointments)and five others. Surely, this was a yawning ending to my Thanksgiving weekend. And when my husband, who is my partner in digesting good and bad movies alike, uttered the words MINDBLOGGLINGLY NUMBING!!! I made a note in my mind to write this comment even if it was 4 in the morning. Omiiiiiiiigosh!! how do they make this kind of stuff ??? Probably, the whole team was overconfidently sleeping and they made the movie in rest time, not worrying about content, context, dialogues, definition of characters, relevance to plot. Nothing, it was as though they cut, copied and pasted some sequences from movies and thriller books and that's it.
Bipasha Basu entered with the potential of someone who would actually shoot down the robber all the way to glory; but instead she was reduced to some absurd showpiece who danced a lot and becomes a twin!! Where did the original sharp-shooter go??
Aishwarya Rai, our very apni SUNEHRI, whose LIKE this LIKE that was so bugging, the she failed to convince her gameplan at several points. No doubt her makeover was noticeable, but Aishwarya, we don't like you with your cheekbones showing that you are almost going to end up in a no food land!! So please do at some food! No doubt the only saving grace was the excellent getup and acting of Hritik Roshan. He was a delight to the eyes and is extremely talented. The music and Choregaphy was good too, but of not much of relief.
Abhishek looked so tired and isinterested...what with all the kajal in eyes and the mafia (not cop look!!)Obviously, you realize that i don't want to waste any space here on the other characters..;)And that the crux is that even though Hritik was awesome, there were just too many spoilers in this movie!!! Wonder why me and my four friends were marooned in the hall on the third day of the release.Probably,to understand why we committed such a mistake?? We were numb and just wanted to Rush back home...period.
