Funny....in the opening subtitles, I saw Phildelphia, 1984.
In case you didn't know this movie was supposed to take place in Philly at 10th & Wolf! Being from South Philly I NEVER saw mountains in the background while hanging on Wolf street when I was a kid! If a movie is supposed to be called Times Square wouldn't you expect it to be filmed in NYC!!!!!!!!!!!! 10 & Wolf is in Philly the last time I checked!
And well done to the editing crew for leaving in several ads using a Pittsburgh area code. I think you meant 215, or perhaps 610, or 484, or even 267? You may want to spend a few minutes in the location you're basing an entire movie on next time around.
Bottom line:
Location = not even close. Ridiculous. Clichés = plentiful (right down to a clown singing the godfather theme...c'mon people) Cameos: ulch. Tommy, you should've stuck with drumming.
Even if there was anyone in the South Phily mob around in 1984, they probably wouldn't be slugging down cosmopolitans, either.
