This adaption of Flash Gordon is truly one of the worst shows I've ever watched. Bad acting on all counts, a surprisignly cheap look to the sfx and the locations and a score that has true ringtone potential ...no thank you sci fi, you can do better than that...but then again...Painkiller Jane? The story is altogether very simple, boring and the characters are shallow stereotypes. Steven "Flash" Gordon? I could understand changing Flash to a mere nickname in terms of a serious adaption of the series, but it seems they did not even try.
On the other hand, maybe this is a good thing and prevents anyone assuming the series has too much to do with the original.
