Conflict, Relationships, Crime, Action, What More Do You Want!

Catching this film was like Discovering the movie "Sideways". It comes out of no where with actors you've never seen before but makes a nice big impression. It's a great little film with good acting, compelling scenes, and complicated relationships that resolve nicely. What more do you want? It has a believable plot about a parole officer and her criminally experienced and sexually charged client who chips away at her ability to maintain that all important border between her and her client, which ultimately collapses and if discovered threatens her emotionally, occupationally and physically. Not only is her career and safety at stake but her emotional well being is being challenged as well. The relationship that develops between her and the parolee is palatable. The danger that looms though between her and her police colleagues is yet another sub plot that is just as volatile. I generally watch three movies at a time and this is the one I kept coming back to. For a low budget production, I thought it was as optimized as it could be.
