This isn't the worst movie of all time, but it sure does drag. There was way too much singing and dancing.
The mumble character was annoying after a while. I didn't care if he ever got the other penguin's respect or not. The other penguins were just as annoying. The only interesting parts involved Robin Williams and those "mexican-ish" style penguins. Britany Murphy is better seen and not heard. And please, no more Elvis songs. Fat Joe is Fat Joe. They captured him quite accurately as a penguin. Even in an animated film, you want to punch him in the face.
I can't believe this film beat out Cars and Monster House for best animated feature - at the Oscars.
If you like a lot of singing and dancing, then this is the movie for you. If you like films that don't drag or waste time, then don't ever see this movie. It's a snoozer.
