After an argument with her boyfriend Matt, who cheated her with their common friend Lindsey, the heartbroken teenager Angela visits her friend Neil that has a crush on her. However, Matt arrives in Neil's place and Angela escapes driving her car through the road in a rainy night, crashing and dying in the car accident. Three days later, Sam and Dean are traveling and Sam decides to visit his mother's grave. Dean becomes intrigued with the perfect circle around Angela's grave and decides to investigate the cause. He finds that the girl has been resurrected by an ancient Greek ritual of necromancy, and returned an evil zombie.
This great episode is homage to Bob Clark's "Children Shouldn't Play with Dead Things" and also to the classic "Pet Sematary". In the conclusion, Dean sees himself in the same situation as Angela, since he feels that his father had exchanged his own life and the Colt for his life, and he concludes that what is dead should stay dead.
