The Dark Knight is a masterpiece. No better story could be written. No more complexity added to the characters. No better dialog for the scenes. If I had dreamed of a perfect movie, this would be it. As believable as a documentary, but as extraordinary as a blockbuster, this movie achieves a rare feat; highly entertaining yet enlightens us with its brooding scepter of turmoil and conflict. While contemplating the story, it is difficult to draw the line between a hero and a villain with the key characters. The dynamism is a key component to the success of the story and its ability to tell a far reaching tale about ourselves and our society. The bar for motion pictures has been raised with and by the Dark Knight, one of the greatest movies of all time.
