I was on the show in the 90s. I was playing Super Adventure Island 2. At the beginning of the game I was a little behind but by the end I had destroyed everyone else when it came to anything you could consider progress. I got farther in the game. Collected the most gold and the most items. There was no way I could have lost
But I did.. What they do not tell you is that they pick the winner within the first 5 minutes of the game. I was crushed. The worst part was that my prize was worse than what my father got for sitting in the audience! I got a silly sweatshirt with a polar bear on it and my father got a Donkey Kong T-Shirt for answering a trivia question about Roy Rogers. Talk about a kick in the nuts eh LOL
