Armenian Revolt (2006 Video)
Unbalanced And Biased
26 November 2009
For people to say that Armenians are ignorant of both sides of the story are false, in our history we are taught that Armenians have killed Muslims, as most white Christian groups have done in order to convert people to salvation and we are taught that in turkey our genocide is considered a revolt. Armenia has and always was a small delicate country and group and for people to say we brutally killed and slayed many people is wrong. We are not ignorant people. We are intelligent when it comes to political motives and issues. We understand all sides of the argument. I have sympathy for the turks too, i do not blame any turk from this time and age for the deaths of many Armenian people. However Armenian killings began before the genocide and if you look at the history more in depth you will see that since Armenian was a soviet influenced country too, they sided with the Russian in both world wars, and that could have been a motive for the turks as well as the economic weight that the turks had in providing things for an entire empire worth of people. I believe this documentary was leaning towards the the claim that the genocide did not occur. If you want a true unbiased view of it go to one of the conventions in new york or anywhere else in the world were Armenian and Turkish historians gather and argue over the issue. If you also do more research you'll understand that many Turkish historians believe the Armenian claim but none of that was put into this documentary
