While the 12th season premiere features top-notch guest stars in the form of Joan Cusak, Peter Strauss, and Henry Ian Cusick, it is ten-year-old Bailee Madison who really shines in the installment.

The young performer is quite believable in each scene in which she appears, especially when she tells Benson of the lengths that her mother has taken to alter her appearance to match that of the missing child.
