This movie was so terrible that I couldn't even finish watching it. The acting was forced, and extremely cliché. The two main characters are a stereotypical comedic pair. One is extremely dorky and over the top and the main character is the straight man. But I did not feel any chemistry, and nothing they did seemed to fit together.
The jokes were not very clever or interesting. Relying mainly on sex jokes and wacky lines that are meant to be controversial, or at least elicit some sort of jerk reaction. They failed horribly.
I am not sure why this was compared to Shaun of the Dead as it doesn't have any of the charm, pacing or cleverness possessed by that movie. I love zombie movies, but this just made me very, very sad.
The action side story, seemed a lot more interesting. But then again, this movie was supposed to be interesting because of it being from the point of view of the zombies.
