Warning: Spoilers
Dexter Season 7 just happens to get better and better every episode. We opened with the heart wrenching premiere, "Are You...?, that simply kept me on the edge of my seat. Sunshine and Frosty Swirl followed up that episode beautifully as it was written perfectly and sent a message to Dexter in an amazing way. But Buck The System may just be even better.

Written By Jace Richdale and Directed Stefan Schwartz, the episode once again is amazingly written and directed. But one thing about this episode I loved was the cinematography; for instance when Dexter was talking about, "the walls closing in on his life", the camera angles symbolized Dexter in-between those two buildings. And again at the end of the episode, when he says, "I'm free", and looks over to the vast area with nothing around him. The cinematography this season is amazing.

In this episode we have a few major moments, such as the introduction of Hannah McKay. We see the downfall/death of Louis Greene and the great moment when Dexter meets Isaac for the first time. At the end of the episode when Ray Speltzer escapes, we see an amazing ending with Debra finally understanding why Dexter does what he does. And in someways she understands.

The only downfalls for the episode was the absence of his son Harrison and death of Louis, which for me felt weird seeing as they built him up over Season 6 and the start of Season 7 just to kill him fairly quickly.

Overall, I rate this Episode a 9/10. It is amazingly written and directed with amazing symbolism. So far this Season is shaping to be a season that undoubtedly will be much better the some others.
