"La viuda de la mafia"
15 June 2013
In my opinion, "the widow of the mob" is the best novel written in Latin America; from the beginning to the end we can appreciate a scene filled with suspense and lots of action. It is worth mentioning that the drama wrapped in the novel, takes the viewer to feel emotions related to the feelings in this station, you can find topics related to the world of organized crime, among these: ambition for the money,drug-addiction, prostitution and also the handling of individuals by means of be bought with money or with threats, the story that he tells us in the soap opera includes characters from different ages; shows us how a family decides to enter the business of narcotics in which their lives later will be affected.

The main characters are: Diana Martin, wife of a pilot of aviation carrying narcotics in order to grow rich illegally. Another important character of the story is Camilo Pulido; Pulido is a detective from the "D. P. J" of Colombia(South-America), that has as its mission to infiltrate in the business of the Montes family to disrupt the mafia network Involved with them; during the mission, slowly falls in love with Diana. The adversarial character of the story is called Anibal Montes; he is the leader of a mafia network of drug traffickers and also a patriarch of the Montes family. Anibal is the brother of Diana's husband; and he is madly in love with Diana and will or could kill for her. This character interprets a manipulator psychological type and will make you feel hatred and resentment toward him. I highly recommend seeing this novel that was directed by Juana Uribe, who also directed the series entitled "Escobar,El Patron del Mal".
