Review of All Is Lost

All Is Lost (2013)
4/10
Severely disappointed
1 November 2013
Brilliant cinematography and acting is once again let down by the story line.

If you have ever done any open water sailing, know anything at all about open water sailing or even have a basic survival instinct this movie will irritate to the point of distracting you from the brilliant acting by Robert Redford.

It is a good example why old fools who have only sailed on lakes should never ever be allowed to "sail around the world".

Its a "survival" film.

If you can look through all the "survival" mistakes, enjoy it for the acting and the cinematography.
