High drama in a strong comedy
23 November 2013
A remarkably profane and often hilarious film, The Coexist Comedy Tour does one better and creates an absorbing drama. I just watched the film, with a director Q & A afterward, and enjoyed it greatly.

Director Larry Brand involves himself in the drama of a Christian comedian dropping out of a multi-religious comedy tour featuring a Jew, a Muslim, a Hindu, a Buddist and an Atheist. Brand's candid portrayal of himself, and the developing critical situation, helps create a narrative that pops. Standing out is Jewish comedian Moshe Kasher whose set is insanely funny. I can't believe this film won't elevate his career to something big.

Highly recommended.
