Have You Ever Been To Bed With Me?
19 March 2014
Warning: Spoilers
I remember this when it first aired as well. I didn't know who the woman, Stanford was, nor did I know who Dyan Cannon was. No idea why this movie was made, but it totally vanished off the radar with no one saying a thing about it.

Don't know why I watched it, but I sat thru it straight thru. It was well done and she was good in it as well. She befriended a young Asian boy and when she was being raided, they burst in on the poor fellow in the bath tub. I don't recall if it was a cover or not, but it certainly made someone look foolish to see a frightened youth there in a bathtub.

One bit I do recall was during the hearing, I guess when she was running for mayor, one of the council asked her about someplace she had stayed and the following conversation took place. I have never forgotten this.

"Mr. So-n-so, have you ever been to bed with me?" "Certainly not!" "Then you don't know where I sleep, do you?" No idea why that line stuck with me, but it has.

I'm sure this program is as dated as any other TV movie from that time, but I remember it was rather good when I watched it that time.

Maybe a first time viewing is all it can take.
