Star Trek: And the Children Shall Lead (1968)

Enough is Enough
3 May 2014
A group of children who have no parents are brought on board the Enterprise. They somehow have developed powers capable of destroying the ship and biting the hand that feeds them. They chant things and shake their fists to bring about chaos. The more the good guys try to do for them, the worse they get. It's interesting that if we are to feel empathy for these little brats, it certainly doesn't work. The weird thing is that they seem to have some kind of holographic guardian angel, played by Melvin Belli, a nationally known attorney. It appears that the writers are getting more and more desperate. Even thought the fans have convinced the sponsors to continue to produce Star Trek at this point, the cheapness of the productions is more and more obvious.
