Slabtown was not an atrocious episode by any means. No. It was tense, well acted and fairly entertaining for 43 minutes. But on a whole, it was highly forgettable.
The entire Hospital set-up was done well, with the 'antagonists' wonderfully creepy, but quite predictable. Emily Kinney was surprisingly solid this episode, though she still cannot express herself as diligently as her co-stars. However, thankfully the show does not seem stale, as the cliffhanger ending further propelled the multiple plot-threads of the show, meaning NOTHING LIKE WOODBURY.
Overall, while predictable and pretty forgettable due to fairly simple character work, Slabtown is still at times riveting and focused, providing viewers with 43 minutes filled with blood and death. 7.4/10
