Warning: Spoilers
Time and time again mtv proves its diligence in crafting content that resonates highly with young people(late teens - early 20's), from teen wolf to happyland the mtv keeps hitting the nail on the head when it comes to producing or choosing content that any or at the very least most young people will enjoy.

That being said, if you don't fall under this bracket their may not be much here for you. The premise, writing and delivery is adequate at best. If your a TV vet that has seen beyond 21 century programming, your probably not gonna be blown away. This ain't hbo nor is it a master piece of any sort.

Now that I gave the bad I can give you some of the good.

The reason I gave it the score I did is because the show knows what it is and doesn't try to hard to be something its not. Its fun, features a lot of current trends, current fashion, music, lifestyle.etc Like I said earlier if your a young adult your gonna have a lot of fun watching this.

But at the same time, the show doesn't shy away from some really meaningful issues, such as narcissism and vanity. As a matter of fact the antagonist(who is also very mysterious, villainous and unpredictable), is not your average everyday narcissist.

_____minor spoilers____________

Hes a serial killer, in search of perfection more specifically a perfect woman. Using the shows version of tinder to do so. But he doesn't murder pretty people, as you would except, but instead murders those that appear to be pretty in their online pictures but are actually flawed and imperfect in person. These would be his conventional victims. How ever he doesn't shy away from killing others that may get in the way of what he wants.

Namely Victoria Justice's character, the shows villain sees her as the epitome of physical perfection and his entire agenda centers around trying to make her fall for him somehow.

Without giving away to much, this issue deeply excites me, vanity is a huge issue facing modern men and women, more so then ever with the advent of the digital age and this show centers around exploring this issue and perhaps reaching some sort of discernible conclusion.

I only hope the writers don't shy away from exploring this path fully.
