Breadwinners (2014–2016)
6/10
not as bad as these hypercritical reviewers think

I actually just signed up for this IMDb account solely to write this review. I am not a huge fan of this show, but I just couldn't believe how badly the other writers were trashing it. It uses language as 'fowll' as 'bubblenuggets' and 'crumbbucket' - oh no! There are some lessons like not procrastinating and forgiving/looking out for one's friends - who cares if they are derivative? Reminds me of that South Park 'Simpsons Did It' episode when I read the long reviews complaining about how it 'rips off' so many shows. Guess what: most shows do! At least when they allude to 'Night of the Living Dead' the zombies return to their regular selves in the end, so my son wasn't scared by the episode. When the Breadwinners fail their driving test they don't blame the officer, in fact, when she then gets into a jam, they still find a way to save her without breaking the law. While Breadwinners will never be Winnie-The-Pooh, this show is not spawn of the devil!

I find many of the songs to be fun & catchy - often hear the 'I just wanna be the best bread winner...' song in my head, sometimes it's the 'Sway-Sway and Buhduece run food fight club.' I even found the love song/video to Jenny Quackles to be way cute!

Why all the hate reviewers? If you are so worried about teaching lessons, maybe dig into your past and find that: 'If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all!' axiom. This show isn't hurting anyone. Please save your trumped up outrage for a more worthy target. You guys strike me as some real crumbbuckets!
