I can't decide if this is the best infomercial about pools I've ever seen, or the worst porn I've ever watched ironically. Better plot lines have been more successfully attempted in M. Night Shaymalan's worst films. I couldn't help but feel like I was watching everything that Scream deconstructed in the genre years before this movie was released. If you're not entertained by this movies horribly written dialogue, perhaps you'll enjoy the actors horrid attempts at speaking with accents. So many parts of the movie went from extremely loud to extremely quiet with no happy medium that I felt like an elderly person hanging on to the last thread of their life, begging for the sweet release of death to whisk me away to a bitter afterlife filled with the agony of these actors failing careers and attempts at success. If you wanted to see a movie where the serial killer turned out to be an actual pool, you will be gravely disappointed. Your time would be better spent sitting in a room quietly, doing nothing of any particular interest.
