Warning: Spoilers
I've been waiting for the right words to tell what I feel about SOA. This is the first time I've watched the show and now I'm on episode 5. As with many TV series and such this one doesn't give me any reasons to care. Every story so far has evolved around some vaguely explained past. While other shows like Orange is the New black show you the past with flashbacks SOA does not. Now there's this guy that's apparently was once a member of the sons but kinda abandoned them. This is explained in one sentence. This guy also has some vague connection to Ope. Opie, and every character on this show are all just people here that up until know haven't developed into anything more then just "some dudes doing bad stuff". There also doesn't seem to be any overarching storyline. So with no characters or any development to speak of and no interesting storyline behind is: why am I supposed to care exactly?

That being said, I still give it a 6 because what there is potential. There are some good actors here and it's still possible to develop the characters. They have everything here to make something interesting. I'm gonna finish this season and see if it adds up to something.
