Audrey Hepburn Remembered (1993)

*** 1/2 (out of 4)

Released the same year as her shocking early death, this documentary takes a look at the life and career of Audrey Hepburn. A great number of legends are interviewed here including Gregory Peck, Stanley Donen, Billy Wilder, Henry Mancini, Blake Edwards, Mel Ferrer and Roger Moore who also serves as host.

The documentary lasts just over a hour and if you're unfamiliar with Hepburn and her work then it's a great way to catch up, get some great title recommendations as well as hear from those who knew her as they talk about what made her so special. There are several great stories told throughout the running time including Peck who talks about how he fought his agent and the studio to get her name by his on the promotional material to ROMAN HOLIDAY. Other great stories are told about the making of films such as MY FAIR LADY and A NUN'S STORY. If you're a fan of Hepburn you'll enjoy hearing these stories as well as getting to hear from Hepburn herself from an archival interview.
