Star Wars battlefront is one of the best Star Wars games I've ever played. You start off on a mission on hoth, and then you get to play multi-player. The reason everyone dislikes this game is because it didn't have what they wanted in comparison to battlefront 2. This isn't bf2, it's a reboot. The jakku map is okay, and the game needs WAY more content to be worth the $60. However, Dice released helpful info on future DLCs.
Yes, you can play as Luke, Han, Leia, the emperor, fett, and Vader, but there's only like 5 planets. In the coming year we will get jabbas palace, cloud city, the Death Star, and a new sullust map, each with new heroes and villains and weapons and everything. The best map as of now if Endor, and maybe hoth, but all of them are quite good. The game-play is alright, like if battlefield's K/D ratio and Call of Duty's gun-play had a baby.
This game is worth $40, but with the coming DLC's it'll be worth the original $60 PLUS the season pass. This makes $110. So, if you are prepared to buy both now, wait a month or so, and then pick it up, it'll be worth the price. If you wanna play it now, Be warned: You won't get anything currently with the season pass. You need to wait.
By the way, two weeks after everyone with the pass gets the DLCs, they'll be available anyways (paid). See ya.
