The Laws of Gods and Men is where things started to get real in this season! Not only is it even better than the last three episodes, which were great but not nearly as excellent as the first two, but it raises the stakes for Tyrion Lannister to either be proved guilty or innocent after the death of King Joffrey in episode 2. Take for instance, the court scene where Peter Dinklage gives out the most epic speech in the entire show with this quote.

"I will not give my life for Joffrey's murder. And I know I'll get no justice here. So I will let the gods decide my fate. I demand a trial by combat."

That line made this whole episode worth it. Everything else is still awesome. The storyline and script are still well-written, the dialog is even more compelling, the pacing's tight, the directing is fresh, the scenery and sets are still lavish, the characters and the relationships still shine, and the music score particularly in the background scene in the court is terrific. So, overall, another classic episode thanks to Peter Dinklage's epic performance.
