This is a Walter Lantz cartoon I had never seen before until I watched it on YouTube, and I love it. This short is set in a "mousey" kingdom, where three lazy little mice pretend to be blind to get out of their king's order for them to do work. But soon, the trio's facade gets them into trouble.
I love this cartoon for its animation. I really didn't care about the coloring, and I also don't mind that it's moral. The one thing I didn't get is why there is a desert outside Mouseville's gate while within Mouseville there is a forest. Among Walter Lantz's cartoons, this one resonates with me the most; it is my preferred choice.
