Brennan's old college professor/lover shows up in town and they began a professional - and personal - relationship. Things are going well until Booth tells her why he's really there.

This is an interesting episode that shows how well Booth and Brennan work together and how well Booth already knows her. Brennan doesn't have many social or interpersonal skills, as is made very clear in this episode. Booth both verifies this with her and sticks up for her when others give her a hard time. Booth also know exactly how to get her to say what the jury needs to hear. Brennan, is of course, livid with her.

I love the closing scene. Booth knows how to get back on her good side and does it quite well. When they are finally alone and she's in her element, they make up. It's a wonderful scene!
