Season 4 Finale was phenomenal

Warning: Spoilers
This ending of this season was PHENOMENAL. Obviously Bea was going to die this season - whether by her own hand, or the hand of someone else. She wanted to kill herself, but what an opportunity - kill herself to be with Ally (or so she thinks) AND get Joan locked up forever (because how can she get away with this one??) I think the thing everyone is missing is that I don't think the writers are writing for our ENTERTAINMENT - they are writing an honest look at how raw and painful prison can be. Her daughter died. The first person in years she's had a real, vulnerable relationship with is now dying too? Why would she want to just stay alive.. in prison??

I knew her death was coming from the first episode. A few minutes before she ended her life (when I too thought Ally died) said out loud "Bea is gonna kill herself." Minutes later my prediction came true.

I am so thrilled for season 5. Ally's alive. Joan's coming back. There is potential for Franky to make a comeback (let's not forget how much focus and time was spent on watching her take the gun, and keep it in her possession - someone made a brilliant point about the potential of it being a breach of probation).

The show is amazing. Now we are left with a group of girls who are going to have to deal with the loss of Bea - another real experience that some inmates deal with.

Yes, the show started with Bea, but it does not have to end with her end.
