Good not, but not as good as the original
30 June 2017
Read the reviews on this one & the previous one; some people just don't get it. Yes, it's a love note to the fans! No, there is no story here, it does nothing to advance the plot of arrow or flash or legends. It's not intended to. It's supposed to remind people that the show was out there & to tune in. It's also supposed to be fun, like a bowl of fruity pebbles when you're over 14.

The last one was remarkable because it was new & different & unexpected, the music was excellent & the premise was unique. This one still has some fun & manages to include everybody – well, all the good guys at least. (Props to David Ramsey for is skilled at being dumbfounded, flabbergasted & astounded; LOL poor Dig, he really isn't wired for all these quantum leaps in the boundless possibilities of the universe)

This one doesn't reach the same level, partly because it isn't a delightfully fresh concept anymore, & partly because it tries too hard; it multitasks as a love note to fans, attempts to get everybody some screen time, it tries to be funny and it tries to be clever with the predictable results. Instead of being a couple of hundred seconds of shining eyed agog wonder & delight, this has several cute/funny moments.

Still good, looking forward to number three – but maybe that's the problem. My advice would be to let it alone a spell, let it fade into the back of the public consciousness & when you do make number three, don't put so much effort into making strike twice.
