Its scenes like this that make for great television. It also makes me break my promise of reviewing Dexter once I am completely done with the show but its just irresistible to not give tribute to such a line and the entire premise of the season that made this predicament arise!
It should also be said that this is the first time we are seeing Dexter blatantly refuse common sense and logic in favour of love. And not even love for this children, or for his sister or obligated love he felt for Rita but just love based on sexual chemistry. It is fitting it comes in the form of a beautiful blonde murderer.
